2025 First-Year Transition Survey

The UNM College Enrichment Program and the UNM Division of Student Affairs are partnering to administer the 2025 First-Year Transition survey in November 2025.
❓WHAT IS THIS SURVEY: The First-Year Transition Survey is designed to assist UNM staff in developing services, programs, and policies aimed at improving the transition experience for all incoming first-year students, including students who are first-generation to college.
🗣 HOW WILL DATA BE USED: Data from this survey will be used to inform programmatic improvements to New Student Orientation and additional programs, services, and events coordinated by departments in the UNM Division of Student Affairs.
🐺 HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE: Beginning on November 4 - November 23, all first-year/first-time beginning freshment UNM students enrolled at the UNM Albuquerque campus will receive an email invitation to participate in the survey. Participation in this survey is completely voluntary.
🎁 WHY SHOULD I PARTICIPATE: All first-year students are encouraged to participate and share their insights, experiences, and suggestions for enhancing transition and support services at UNM. Additionally, this survey will help strengthen UNM's understanding and support for first-generation Lobos.
Upon completion of this survey, participants can choose to enter a random drawing for one of 20 $25 UNM Bookstore giftcards. Drawing will be held after the survey closes on Monday, November 24, 2025 and winners will be notified via their UNM email. Participation in the drawing is optional.
